Stranraer Oyster Festival simply couldn’t happen without our team of dedicated and passionate volunteers that give their time to this event. Throughout the years, we have had many people step forward to help make this event one of the most exciting weekends of the year in Stranraer, and for that we are very grateful!
Why Volunteer?
At Stranraer Oyster Festival, we champion showcasing our town, its people and our produce by delivering a celebratory weekend that the whole family can enjoy. By volunteering, you are playing a big part of helping to create this.
We're looking for
Festival Volunteers who are passionate about our town. No specific skillset is needed as full training will be given. We just ask that you bring a friendly face, a hard-working and can-do attitude and your extra set of hands!
Roles include:
Setting Up the Festival Site | Meet & Greet | Tickets | Set Up of Performances | Delivery of Workshops | Merchandise Stall | Keeping the Site Clean and Free From Litter | Stewarding | Customer Service | Handing out Festival Programmes | Take Down of Site
