Seafood Celebration Marquee
Our Seafood Celebration Marquee has been generously supported by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and the Scottish Government. Within it we’ve curated a selection of delicious seafood themed stalls offering a wide array of local seafood served in imaginative and inspiring ways.
The Market Marquee will be bursting with delicious local produce and beautiful local crafts, and best of all, you’ll get to browse and buy direct from the makers. Here’s the producers who will be joining us for the 2018 festival!
Henry’s Bay House
John Henry is famous for his giant paellas, and he’s bringing his paella expertise back to this year’s festival. Choose from a seafood paella, chorizo paella or fresh mussels in ale and white wine and garlic.
Famed for their artisan salmon, the Marrbury team will be rustling up salmon panini snacks, plus hot smoked salmon and of course their famous traditional smoked salmon.
Tickle your tastebuds with a temping choice of fish goujons and crisps or seared scallops in garlic.
North West Castle
The North West Team will be preparing a selection of soups, grab one as a starter or as a quick snack to go.
Loch Ryan Oyster Co.
Our local oyster experts will be putting on an oyster extravaganza! You’ll be able to try our local Loch Ryan Oysters alongside Jersey Rock Oysters, West Mersea Rock Oysters, Poole Rock Oysters and Helford Rock Oysters.
Oban Fish Company
There will be lots of seafood choice here including smoked seafood, trout, fish, pate, mussels, pies, chowder, fishcakes and scallops.
Fig & Olive
Fig & Olive are bringing their flair for flavour to the festival with a Galloway lobster salad, Thai style fish cakes, fish chowder, Fig & Olive salads and cake.
Tuck into a seafood pasta box, macaroni cheese or an Italian meat salad box.
